Description- Harleen Kaur, Divya Singh, Pawandeep Singh

The story revolves around the protagonist Jayant Joshi, who almost every morning ends up in a fight with his neighbour, Fahrukh on parking issues. Fahrukh, a renowned lawyer has recently moved in that locality. Jayant has merely spent half his life following the norms of the Indian society, but he is not too rigorous about all the rules that apply. Thereafter while going through the belongings of his recently deceased mother, he finds his adoption papers and discovers that he was adopted from a Muslim family. He gets to know that his real name is Ali Ehsaan and that of his biological father is ‘Iqbal Ehsaan’. When he realizes that his whole life and faith have been a lie, he is trapped in sheer oblivion. In the backdrop of parking issues, the play draws a parallel between religion and identity through the journey of Jayant of finding his biological father. Eager to learn about his heritage, Jayant turns to his grouchy Muslim neighbour, Fahrukh for guidance. During an argument with Fahrukh, Jayant lets slip his ethnicity and his real name. Fahrukh mentions a similarity to the name, Iqbal Ehsaan, a tailor by profession who may, or may not be Jayants biological father.
Fahrukhs recent trips to Jayants house arouse suspicions in Jayant’s family. Things take a severe turn when Jayant’s wife, Aarti spots him in Muslim attire, looking at himself in the mirror. Aarti and Jayant have a bitter argument and Jayant yells out in front of everyone that he is a Muslim. The contrast between Islam and Hinduism is ignored in favour of light farce and religious eccentricities.
