Lucknow has long been seen as the fountainhead of culture and tradition. Mother of the thumri style of classical Indian music, capital of nafaasat and nazaakat (sophistication and daintiness) home to the culture of ‘pehle aap’ (after you), the city is known for its Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb with its grand monuments, intricate embroideries, amazing cuisine and age-old gharaanas of music and dance. Lucknow typifies the Awadhi culture at its best, with its nawabs, its poets, its courtesans, its men of letters and nobility and, last but not the least, its mouth-watering food.

At “Lucknow-waala”, we bring to you the magnificent Lucknowi experience in New Delhi. Proposed to be held on 25th and 26th March 2017 at the India Islamic Cultural Centre, this two-day Lucknow Festival will bring together the diverse array of all the elements that Lucknow stands for.

Time: 4:00pm to 7:30pm
