Description- Alfaaz
The Poetry Recitation competition
The world has become a dull, drab place, devoid of soul and of words. And thus to cast away the dreariness of a wordless, lifeless and rhymeless existence, ALFAAZ, the annual poetic bonanza of NSIT is back. So all the Ghalibs, Wordsworths and Angelous out there, collect your scribbles, verses, farces, ghazals, satires and sher-o-shayaris and head to NSIT where we’ll place them all in the poem house that we plan to build.

A poet’s biggest reward is the poem itself, however sticking by the 21st century trends there are ‘material gifts’ for the winners too 🙂

So those who have a way with words can lend us their words, and those who have a way with poets and want to spend a sunny afternoon tanning in the heat of poems can drop in unannounced and shackle themselves in the poetic garlands that we plan to weave on the said day.

Guidelines:
ALFAAZ would be a two tiered event, with an online round followed by a second recitation round in NSIT, on 28th March, 3pm onwards, in the Mini Auditorium.

Online event : The last date for registration and submission for the online round is 20th March till midnight.

Offline event : This would take place on campus on the 28th of March from 3pm onwards.
